Meet our multi disciplinary AI Innovation Team working all day on deep technology breakthroughs..

About Inge
Inge is an entrepreneur at heart. There is an endless stream of (often bad) ideas coming from Inge. The best ideas he says, are crerated in collaboration and with inspiration from others.

He has an electronics engineering background, an MBA, and a specialisation within Finance. This has been followed by about 30 years of experience with sales, business entrepreneurship and software solution development.

Inge's professional passion has been AI & Analytics for many years, before that it was quantitative finance. And always there was sailing.

You will find Inge easy to talk to whatever the idea or requirement. Favourite life motto (there are many): "there is no such thing as a stupid question".
About David
David holds his Ph.D. in Spatial Statistics, and a MSc in Industrial Mathematics, both from NTNU, Norway's highest regarded tecnology University.

His research centered on Bayesian inverse problems, in particular applications of hidden Markov models to geophysical data. As part of his PhD he also spent six months at UCSC, California, on topics related to stochastic optimization.

Everybody loves David. That is just the way it is, and we are the luckiest team to have him as a colleague.

But seriously, you will enjoy working with him, and learn from his genereous spirit, calm personality and razor sharp mind.
About Akos
Akos is a Senior Platform Architect for modern Data, Edge and AI domains.
His background is from top rated firms like DNV, BaseFarm and Crayon and 25 years working with computer science.

Akos is the kind that will engineer anything and thinking out of the box, "hack" the basics of almost any technology. At the same time being an expert software engineer, means that when Intellectual Labs are building solid foundations for a company, or smart IoT applications driven by science, Akos's skills and pleasent nature gets the job done, and the teams we are working with all the more happy.

About Alise
Alise is currently in the process of finishing her Ph.D. in Machine Learning at the University of Oslo where she is working on machine learning methodology for safety-critical applications.

Alise is passionately interested and involved in the development, use and spread of AI. She has held a series of talks on AI and especially explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) and was named one of 30 Women changing the field of AI by the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Consortium in 2021. She is currently contributing to the AI community in Oslo as a board member of Oslo.AI.

Her background is within physics and earlier working experience as a technology consultant. She loves outdoor sports such as volleyball, tennis, cross-country skiing and running.
About Valentin

Now doing his PhD, Valentin is already trained as a researcher in Neuroscience and applied mathematics, with the mind of an entrepreneur. During his studies and employment, Valentin developed strong skillset for data analysis, applied mathematics and statistics and neuroscienbce biology. Versed in various experiences in leadership and team management with both biological experimentalists and data scientists

Valentin consolidated his skills with more than 8 years of experience before  joining Intellectual Labs portfolio company PueroVita AS.

About Chamara

Chamara earned his PhD in Biological chemistry, before performing several research projects in Bio Informatics in both Sri Lanka and Norway.

His research experience includes Developing genome sequencing method, synthetic biology techniques for cancer detection, photo-driven proton-pumps for mitochondria early-stage breast cancer detection and the development of detection assay technique, genetic and functional characterization, investigation of anticancer compounds from fungi and basic research of action in selected cancer cell lines amongst many others.

In all his biology studies Chamara allways developed quantitative analysis and simulation and AI methos usin Python and many other frameworks.  Chamara is a true fountains of great ideas for how biology can be understood, quantified and simulated.

About Ravi
Ravi is an experienced IT professional in different areas, including devops, cloud and infrastructure. This includes experience with developing containerization and clustering technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. He is pursuing a MCA, Master in Computer Applications.

Ravi has worked in multiple organizations, and has been known to be the technology "go-to" guy. This stems from a great curiosity and desire to learn new technologies, and a passion for automation - any task that can be automated through software is an opportunity!
About Marius

Marius is an young engineer with a a passion for electronics, sensors and edge computing matching a full stack engineer. Marius is remarkable quick at finding smart solutions using IoT devices and embedded solutions.

Marius is best of breed innovator, hacker and a fast learner.

About Jonas

Although early in his professional career, Jonas has already been writing code for 2 years. His software development journey started out with Python but soon found its way to web and frontend development.

Jonas thinks beautiful UI/UX are essential for a good product. Therefore he also enjoys this part of making applications. Other than developing, Jonas enjoys maths and physics. These interests in maths and physics are based in a desire to describe the world and accelerate the advancement of humanity.

That is why Jonas fits perfectly at Intellectual Labs.

Tobias is an highly experienced professional with specialized expertise and passion for data science. He is a Masters in Statistics from NTNU where his thesis was on using Deep Learning for extracting relevant information from text data. And equally important, Tobias is fun to hang around and allways have a nice ironic joke at hand, so be sharp!

After completing his degree, he worked as a data science consultant and was exposed to several tough challenges with data and analytical projects within maritime, shipping, banking, renewable energy, healthcare and retail sectors.

Equipped with these Tobias can conduct and facilitate demanding industrial scale AI projects.
